Spring Lilies has officially turned one and I wanted to make this post to thank each one of you for not only taking time to read what I wright but also for leaving me the lovely and amazing comments you do. Honestly your comments are what inspires me to keep on going.

With Spring Lilies, I have tried to keep my posts as constant as possible, but there have been two moments this year where I let life get the better of me and that made me feel like I didn’t have the energy or inspiration to create content. Blogging isn’t easy, it takes up quite a lot of your time and I have realised that my creativity is linked to my emotions. If I’m worried or stressing about something it takes over me and leaves me with no energy to do anything else. But the important thing is to keep on going and I have realised that its okay to put my blog on pause for a moment, after all I do this because its fun, because I like having something in my life were I can do what I want and let my creativity shine, and most of all, I love being part of the blogging community and getting to interact with other amazing bloggers and readers.



I know I have a long way to go, I really want to improve my writing skills, as well as my photography and graphic design skills. But I am really proud of what I was able to create, (I was much worst in the beginning I assure you.)

    Congratulations lovely! Happy blog-birthday. I know what an achievement it is, as I also know how time consuming, difficult and energy-sucking (in a good way!) blogging can be. Like you, my creativity and, annoyingly, productivity are very much so linked to my emotions. It's important to cut ourselves some slack, though, sometimes.
