I couldn’t
possibly visit Paris and not buy a thing or two.
Paris literally
has a pharmacy in every street packed with amazing brands like Bioderma, La
Roche-Posay, Nuxe, Avene, etc.
And even
though we can get hold of these brands in the UK you can get them for a
fraction of the price in France. So why not stock up?
My first
must have was Bioderma´s Micelar water, this is a staple in my skin care routine
and I go through them like water.
The 500ml
bottle retails for £20 in the UK, I bought these two 500ml bottles for 17€,
amazing bargain right?
Then I had
to get La Roche-Posay Effaclar purifying foaming gel, even though I already
have one in reserve. I love this cleanser as it is gentle and effective, it doesn’t
leave your skin feeling stripped from all moisture and leaves oily skin feeling
clean and fresh. You can also buy this in the UK, but to this day I haven’t seen
a 400 ml bottle with a pump. The bottle I am using at the moment was bought well
over a year a go, a little pump really does go a long way with this one.
Next was
the La Roche-Posay Serozinc, this is a first purchase for me. I really wanted
to try so I thought it was the perfect timing.
The rest of
the items I bought are from Sephora. Even though there was a great selection of
brands and products I decided not to splurge too much as the majority of the
brands are available in the UK for a similar price. (Sephora in the EU doesn’t stock
the same brands as Sephora in the US)
I love
Sephora´s selection on minis, and even though Make Up For Ever is a brand you
can get hold off in the UK I decided to get a mini Mattifying Primer. My skin
rarely looks shiny but it does sometimes feel oily. A mini is always a good
idea when you don’t know how your going to get on with the product. But
honestly if I could I would have filled my basket with all the minis, they are
so cute!
I decided
to go crazy for the Sephora brand masks, but they are not all for me promise!
I’m not a
fan a face sheet masks, but I had to try the rest of the Sephora sheet mask
collection. I really wanted to try the eye masks as that area of my skin tends
to get quite dry. I still haven’t tried any of them but I let you know how I
get along with them.
Have you
tries any of these products? Let me know hat you think!
Aaaaah Sephora hauls are the best! I always go crazy when I go to France :-)
