New: Kiehl´s Midnight Recovery Botanical Cleansing Oil

It’s no big secret that I am a huge fan of the Kiehl’s midnight recovery range. The face oil and eye cream are two staples in my night time skin care routine. I have repurchased them time and time again and will continue doing so in the future.

Kiehl´s Midnight Recovery Botanical Cleansing Oil

It’s only natural that my excitement grew when I found out that the midnight recovery range was expanding and introducing a cleansing oil. I have been meaning to try cleansing oils for a while now but I never saw one that stud out enough for me to try it out, that is, until a saw the Kiehl’s one of course.

I mean, I was so desperate to try it out that I even went into a Kiehl’s store and asked if they could sell me a bottle even though the product wouldn’t launch in the UK for another week. Thankfully the sales assistant that I spoke to was so nice she let me buy it.

The formula is extremely light weight and easy to spread. You apply it on dry skin and massage it all over the face, two small pumps is enough. You will start to see how the makeup is lifting away and melting. You’ll end up looking like a panda but you just then need to simply rinse it out with water and you are done.

It doesn’t leave your skin feeling tight nor dry and it also doesn’t leave a weird oily residue on the skin.

Kiehl´s Midnight Recovery Botanical Cleansing Oil

I like this oil because it’s really gentle on the skin, there is no rubbing or pulling needed, therefore your skin won’t suffer or age faster. It is also mineral oil free which is always a plus and it has the same soothing botanical scent and the Midnight recovery face oil, perfect to help you unwind after a busy day.

Are you a fan of cleansing oils? Let me know which are your favourite

  1. I used to have some cleansing oil from our local drugstore and it clogged my pores so badly, that I look like a monster, haha. Since than I'm scared to try something like this anymore.

    1. Totally understandable, I would do the same. Some products don't work well on all skin types.

  2. I don't own many cleansing oils but I would love to try more. I love oils in general and I use them regularly in my skincare routine.

    1. I also love face oils, I use them day and night. Cleansing oils are also great, specially when you want to take of a full face of makeup.

  3. I have not tried anything from this brand but my all time favourite cleansing oil is Dermalogica Pre-Cleanse. It's the best that I have ever tried.

    1. In my teens all my skin care was from Dermalogica, I was slightly obsessed. I might try the Pre-cleanse, thanks for the recommendation.

  11. Glad to hear you're enjoying the cleansing oil so much. I've not tried anything from this range (or anything much from Kiehl's, really) but I'm definitely curious about this cleansing oil. I think it's pretty good value for the size and from all the reviews I've seen or read, it's supposed to be a great product so it's made it onto my wishlist.
