By chance on Christmas day, whilst looking for some board games
we found our old photo albums. It felt so nice to look back at pictures and reminisce
about the good old days. Having the pictures in my hands made me realise that
in this new era of technology I never print out photos. I usually end up saving
my pictures on hard drives that break with time or USB sticks that I ultimately
loose, and all those memories are gone with them.
I don’t like the idea of loosing these images that capture
precious moments in my life, so I thought that I would start printing out
pictures. I chose 30 pictures that summarised my 2017. To print them I used the
website Printiki
which has many different styles and finishes you can choose from. You can even
create a photo wall which I thought was very cool. You can always check out their Instagram account if you
need inspiration.
I chose the retro style in a matte finish and decided to add
some text and I´m so happy how they turned out. There is something about having
physical pictures that just get me reminiscing. I´ll probably end up sticking
them all in a scrapbook and cherish for years to come.
Hope you have had a lovely start to the year and hope you create
many happy memories this year!
This post really makes me want to take more pictures throughout the year so I have something to look back on!
