Super juice to boost your immune system

Everyone around me seems to be getting a cold or a flu lately (mind you, I had two since winter started so I’m not one to complain). Its something you can’t really avoid, its everywhere; public transport, work, school you name it.

You can lock yourself up and not go outside until spring, but that isn’t very practical is it?

That is why I want to do everything I can to help boost my immune system.
One of the things I have started doing is making a juice everyday. I am quite fussy, if I don’t like something I can’t force myself to eat/drink it no matter how good it is for me.

This juice is not only packed full of vitamin C but it also tastes amazing. And its so easy to make.

You only need:
An orange
Two apples
Two carrots
A juicer.

Just wash the apples and carrots, peel the orange, but everything in the juicer and Voilà

But what makes this juice so good?

We all now oranges are packed full of vitamin C, but did you also know they protect from free radical damage and they contain antioxidants? It helps your skin to look younger for longer. Oranges are also a great source of fiber.

Apples are quite similar to oranges in that they also contain vitamin C, antioxidants and fiber.
Carrots on the other hand are an amazing source of Vitamin A. This vitamin prevents premature wrinkling, acne, dry skin, pigmentation, blemishes and uneven skin tone.

To summarize, this juice not only is amazing at keeping colds at bay but it also works wonders on your skin and taste lovely as well.

Let me know what you normally do to boost your immune system?

  5. This is a great recipe! I always put a little ginger in my juice to boost my immune system, you should try it. When I have a cold, I use an old recipe of my grandmother, warm water, honey and lemon, it's the best! x

    1. That's exactly what I think! It not only helps boost your immune system but it also helps you reach your five a day and to be honest I'm not always the best with that.
